Background

A global cloud communications company ran large-scale marketing programs across email, digital ads, events, and webinars. Campaign execution spanned multiple tools and vendors, including Salesforce, Outreach, and intent platforms. Despite this investment, the marketing team lacked a consolidated view of how campaigns influenced pipeline or which accounts were actually engaging.

Challenge

Campaign and engagement data was scattered across platforms, making it difficult to measure performance or prove impact. The team couldn't track multi-touch interactions at the account level, and there was no standard way to assess marketing influence on opportunity creation or progression. Without visibility into historical trends or cross-channel performance, optimization was guesswork.

1. Data Unification + Human in the loop

Marketing data from Salesforce, Outreach, 6sense, and flat files was cleaned, normalized, and integrated into a central intelligence layer. Formats were standardized, records deduplicated, and account names harmonized to support accurate rollups and reporting.

2. Interactive Campaign Visibility Dashboard

A custom Power BI dashboard was deployed to visualize campaign performance across touchpoints. Users could drill down by region, campaign type, or account to view engagement by channel, opportunity stage movement, and influence on pipeline creation. Exportable lists enabled sales and BDRs to act on high-engagement accounts. Ad engagement metrics—including impressions, clicks, and web visits—were also tracked.
